With exceptional sportsmanship and skill on full display, Green Valley Educational Institute achieved a resounding victory at the final of the 9th Federation-Cup Softball Cricket Championship 2023 (Women). Organized collaboratively by the Jammu & Kashmir Softball Cricket Association and the Indian Soft Ball Association India, the championship unfolded at the Indoor Stadium in Ganderbal from August 26th to 28th, 2023.
This esteemed tournament featured the participation of 8 teams, including representatives from diverse regions such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, the Jammu & Kashmir Team, GDC Ganderbal, Women’s College M.A. Road, and our very own Green Valley Educational Institute. On the field, a spirited competition showcased the unwavering dedication and fervor of these remarkable athletes.
In an electrifying climax, the ultimate match brought together Green Valley Educational Institute and the Rajasthan team. The showdown was nothing short of captivating, as GVEI emerged victorious with a substantial lead of 18 runs. The players exemplified not only exceptional teamwork and resilience but also strategic prowess, earning the championship title through their extraordinary performance.
The event received the esteemed presence of dignitaries, most notably Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan, Chairman of Noor-Ud-Din Group of Colleges, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His participation infused the event with heightened motivation and excitement for all participants.
