The Annual Khadijah Memorial Cricket Champions Trophy, an inter-school Cricket tournament organized by the Green Valley Educational Institute commenced on Friday, November 25, 2022, in the green campus of the Institute.
Mr. Altaf ur Rehman, Ex-Director Physical Education Department, Islamia College of Science and Commerce Srinagar, and Mr. Imran Haroon (Ranji trophy player) being the guest of honor inaugurated the tournament. The inaugural match was played between Doon International School & The Legends School of Education.
The match started at 11:00 am with the team of Doon International School winning the toss. They decided to bat first and scored 115 runs in the allotted 10 overs.
The Legend School team could only score 85 runs in 10 overs and lost the match.
Dilawar from Doon International School was declared as the man of the match.
